From Pakistan to Los Angeles

I was born in Karachi, Pakistan and currently reside in Los Angeles, California. After spending my formative years between Pakistan and the United States, I graduated from Babson College in Boston, MA, where I specialized in Entrepreneurship and Information Technology (IT).

 Being immersed in a career dictated by numbers, I found myself turning to my DSLR camera for balance. I asked myself: “Can a left-brained analytical person become fluent in right-brained creative skills?”

 The images you see on this website are the results of my meditation of said question.

When I’m not behind a camera, you can find me creating music, traveling, supporting my favorite football/soccer and basketball teams, and hanging out with my wife and dog.

I shoot with a Canon 5D Mark IV and my kit contains:

• EF 24-70mm f/4L IS USM

• EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM (with Extender EF 2x III)

• TS-E 17mm f/4L

• EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro

• Speedlite 470EX-AI Flash

In addition, I use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to edit images.
